The short version
- The Chrome extension reads what you see on x.com. It never posts, replies, likes, follows or sends a message for you.
- What it reads goes to your Revodics account on our server, and only there. It is used to give you suggestions. It is not sold, not shared for advertising, and not used to profile you for anyone else.
- It does not read your direct messages, your passwords, your cookies, or anything outside x.com.
- Until you agree to the notice on the extension's own page and sign in, the extension reads nothing and sends nothing anywhere.
What the extension reads
Only on x.com, and only while you browse:
- Posts that appear on your screen: the text, the author's handle and name, the post link, when it was posted, and its public counts (likes, replies, reposts, views). This is how Revodics finds posts worth replying to and learns what works in your niche.
- Your own X account: your handle, display name, bio and follower numbers, your own posts and replies, and the numbers in X's analytics table when you open it.
- Pages you ask it to scan: when you press Scan in the dashboard (or a scheduled daily scan runs), the extension opens the creators' profiles and searches you chose in a background tab, reads what shows, and closes the tab.
- Your X archive, but only if you drop it onto the Revodics panel yourself.
- A reply you are writing, only when you press “Rate my reply”: the text in X's reply box at that moment, and the post it answers. A button appears while you write a reply; the extension counts the characters you have typed to know when to show it, but it reads and sends the text only when you press the button. Revodics never types into the box, changes it or posts for you.
It does not read the Messages page or the Notifications page.
What is stored where
- In your browser: your Revodics sign-in token, your email, your agreement, which of your X accounts is active, your settings, and reply drafts you have not used yet. These stay in the extension's own storage. The Revodics website passes your sign-in token to the extension when you are signed in, so you never copy it by hand. Withdrawing your agreement removes the token.
- On the Revodics server: your account (email and name, or your Google profile name and email if you sign in with Google), the posts and profile information listed above, the suggestions and drafts made for you, the replies you asked us to rate with their ratings, your plan and credit balance, and a record of the AI calls made for you: the text sent to the model, the answer that came back, which feature asked, how many tokens it used and what it cost. If you write to us through the support page, we also keep your message, the name and email you gave, and a scrambled (hashed) form of your network address used only to stop floods of messages. Support messages are deleted after 180 days.
Who else sees it
- AI model providers. To write a reply, an idea or a draft, the relevant text (a post, a few of your own posts to match your voice, your instruction, or the reply you asked us to rate) is sent to the AI model provider we use. It is sent only when a suggestion is being made, and only what that suggestion needs.
- Hosting. Our server and website run on cloud hosting providers, who process data on our behalf.
- Payments. When you buy credits, a payment processor handles the payment. We do not store card numbers.
- Telegram. Only if you connect it. Revodics then keeps your Telegram chat ID and the name Telegram shows for you, and sends your reminders, alerts and daily report to that chat through Telegram's service. You can disconnect at any time in Settings, or by sending /stop to the bot. Messages sent through the support page are also forwarded to our team on Telegram so we can answer quickly.
- Legal. We disclose data only if the law requires it.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not use it to decide credit, employment or insurance. People at Revodics do not read your posts or suggestions unless you ask us for help, it is needed for security or to stop abuse, or the law requires it.
Why the extension asks for each permission
- Access to x.com: to read the pages described above and show the Revodics panel on them.
- Access to the Revodics server (api.revodics.com): to send what it read and bring suggestions back.
- Access to the Revodics website (revodics.com and app.revodics.com): to receive your sign-in from the dashboard so the extension connects by itself. Nothing else on those pages is read.
- storage: to keep your token and settings in your browser.
- scripting: to put the panel into x.com tabs that were already open when you installed or updated it.
- alarms: to check for scans you queued and for a high-value reply, every few minutes.
- notifications: to tell you when a high-value reply opportunity is live. You can turn this off in the Revodics panel.
The extension does not run code downloaded from anywhere. All of its code ships inside the extension.
Your choices
- Withdraw your agreement on the extension's page (click its icon), or remove it from Chrome, and it stops reading and sending at once.
- Turn off alerts in the Revodics panel (You tab).
- Ask for a copy of your data, or for your account and everything stored about it to be deleted. Write to support@revodics.com.
Limited Use
The use of information received from X pages by Revodics will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use it only to provide and improve the features you see in Revodics, we do not transfer it except as described above, we do not use it for advertising, and people do not read it except as described above.
Security and children
Traffic between the extension, the dashboard and the server is encrypted (HTTPS). API tokens are stored hashed on the server. Revodics is meant for adults and is not directed to children.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the dashboard before it takes effect. Revodics is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by X Corp.
